The camp was led by Program Coordinator Dr. Mohd. Mohsin

Aligarh, 04 March 2025 – The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) successfully conducted a week-long special education camp at Muskan Public School, Maulana Azad Nagar, Aligarh, from February 17 to February 24, 2025. The camp aimed to promote education among underprivileged children while fostering a sense of social responsibility among young volunteers. Led by Program Coordinator Dr. Mohd. Mohsin, the initiative saw the enthusiastic participation of over 150 volunteers who dedicated their time and efforts to making a difference in the lives of these children.

Under the expert guidance of NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. Mohsin Khan, various educational activities were carried out daily. In his inspiring address, Professor Khan emphasized the crucial role of youth in advancing education and encouraged volunteers to take responsibility for teaching at least two rural children, ensuring they receive fundamental education. To further highlight the importance of education, volunteers performed a thought-provoking skit that creatively conveyed the message of social responsibility and the transformative power of learning.

Throughout the camp, Program Officers played a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of activities. The assigned Program Officers for each day were: Mr. Naeem Ahmad, Ms. Nazia Begum, and Md. Shoyib Raza on February 17; Dr. Tarushikha Sarvesh, Dr. Mohd. Furkan, and Mr. Naushad Najeeb on February 18; Dr. Mohd. Their presence ensured a well-structured and effective learning environment for the children.

The success of the camp was also made possible by the dedicated efforts of office staff members Mr. Mukesh, Mr. Waqar, and Mrs. Zeba, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to coordinate logistics and operations. As the camp concluded, volunteers took a solemn oath to continue their mission of educating others and serving society.

This initiative not only left a lasting impact on the underprivileged children but also reinforced the values of service and education among the young volunteers, making it a truly transformative experience for all involved.
