Successful Conclusion of Research Methodology Workshop for Ph.D Scholars

Aligarh, May 26, 2023 – The seven-day Research Methodology workshop for Ph.D Scholars of Humanities and Social Sciences at Aligarh Muslim University came to a successful conclusion today. The workshop was organized in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) of the university.

The event received immense support from renowned academicians and scholars who dedicated their expertise to enrich the workshop. Prof. M. Rizwan Khan, Prof. Naushad Ali.PM, Dr. Zubair Shadab Khan, and Dr. Faiza Abbasi were among the distinguished faculty members who contributed to the success of the workshop.

The dynamic leadership of Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar, the Provost of SS Hall (South), played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the workshop. Under his guidance, the workshop achieved its objective of equipping Ph.D scholars with essential research skills and methodology in the field of humanities and social sciences.

The coordination and support provided by all the Wardens of the Hall were instrumental in making the event a resounding success. Their dedication and commitment to facilitating a conducive learning environment were greatly appreciated by the participants.

Mr. Ehtashamul Islam Khan, Senior Hall of SS (South), and his entire team worked tirelessly to make this workshop a reality. Their hard work and efforts were recognized as the driving force behind the smooth organization and seamless execution of the event.

AMU library and information science professor Naushad Ali PM said that The Research Methodology workshop provided a platform for Ph.D scholars to enhance their research skills and expand their knowledge in the field of humanities and social sciences. The participants expressed their gratitude towards the organizers and faculty members for their valuable insights and guidance throughout the workshop.

This collaborative initiative between Aligarh Muslim University, UGC, and HRDC has further strengthened the research ecosystem at the university and will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the humanities and social sciences.

As the workshop concluded, the participants left with enriched knowledge, enhanced research capabilities, and a renewed enthusiasm to pursue their doctoral research with excellence.
